Factor was founded by Mark Faust and Aaron Randolph, who each have more
than a decade of experience in managed IT and cybersecurity. We have worked with
compliance driven companies in nearly every industry, including government,
manufacturing, healthcare, and public safety.

Mark Faust
Co-Founder | Principal Consultant
Mark Faust is the co-founder of Factor Technology Solutions, where he leads Operations, Solutions Architecture, and Research & Development. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and managed services, Mark wears many hats.
As a trusted solution architect, Mark specializes in designing secure, scalable network architectures that align technology with client goals. He’s led complex infrastructure projects and compliance-driven security initiatives for public agencies and private enterprises alike, earning a reputation for strategic thinking, calm under pressure, and practical execution.
At Factor, Mark is focused on driving innovation, operational excellence, and long-term client partnerships. When he’s not working, he enjoys golfing, finding great BBQ, and spending time with his two sons.
Aaron Randolph
Co-Founder | Principal Consultant
Aaron Randolph is the co-founder of Factor Technology Solutions, where he leads Support, Service, and Business Administration. Aaron’s areas of expertise as a technology consultant are network architecture, modernization efforts, strategic planning, and change management. With an MBA from the University of Iowa and over 15 years of experience as a network engineer, Aaron brings knowledge in both IT and business management to help customers achieve large-scale technology transformation.
Aaron works to ensure high-quality support, service delivery, and automation across systems, helping clients align their infrastructure with long-term goals while maintaining operational excellence and compliance. He’s helped organizations simplify, streamline, and secure their technology, reducing their frustration while increasing their productivity.
Outside of his work in tech, Aaron is also an accomplished playwright and composer, with original works performed at theatre festivals across the United States. He also loves traveling with his wife and two children, golfing (not as good as Mark), reading, and playing piano.
Dan Juehring
Senior Product Manager
Dan Juehring is a Senior Product Manager with over 15 years of experience in IT across diverse environments. He leads the development and ongoing management of essential service offerings, including patching, security, and backup solutions. Dan has a strong passion for automation and driving efficiency through innovative solutions.
Outside of work, he enjoys comedy podcasts, hosting board game nights with friends, and traveling with his wife and their son.
